Hey team. It’s been a heavy year and now it’s feeling heavier than ever with the murder of George Floyd and uproar and awareness being raised across communities for justice and change. There’s a lot of voices out there and a lot (we would say largely MOST) of us are on the same team whether we realize it or not. Cody and Lenny add some of their thoughts on the current goings on and testify to the comfort that the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring in times like these. Hope you don’t mind us getting a bit heavy but we hope our dialog can help people from all different perspectives feel encouraged to have these kind of conversations and listen to each other.

  1. Nice podcast guys! I have a thought. When the mortal Jesus came the people wanted someone to lead them with the sword but he taught peace. Alma talked about the power of the word but that doesn’t have to be the “Mormon Gospel”. Words are so powerful in both creating and destroying. “God spoke and the world was”. I can’t see Jesus at a protest. Or the Buddha. And like the man in the mirror each of us working on ourselves to be the best we can be. Change will be on an individual basis. Even Jesus could only heal or comfort one person at a time. Keep up the dialogue.
